Cookie Policy
Cookies are small files that the browser stores when visiting a site. At Deadweightkv we try to use as few as possible and, when they are needed, we say so openly. This policy explains which ones we use in 2026 and how they relate to Google Consent Mode v2.
1. Types of cookies we use
We use strictly necessary cookies to keep your browsing session (consent, preferred language) and, only with your consent, analytics and advertising cookies associated with Google Ads and digital measurement tags.
2. Google Consent Mode v2
We implement Google Consent Mode v2 in its advanced mode. This means that before any measurement or advertising script can store information, signals are activated indicating to Google whether you have granted or denied consent for advertising storage (ad_storage), user data (ad_user_data), advertising personalisation (ad_personalization) and analytics (analytics_storage). By default, all of these signals are set to denied.
3. Your options in the banner
The cookie banner offers four actions: Accept all, Reject all, Manage preferences and Save preferences. Your choice is stored locally in your browser (localStorage) and is automatically reapplied on future visits. If you clear browser storage, the banner will reappear.
4. Third-party services
We only load Google Ads and measurement scripts after your consent. When those services act, they do so respecting the Consent Mode v2 signals and with advertising data redaction (ads_data_redaction) and URL passthrough (url_passthrough) activated by default.
5. How to change your choice
You can review your choice by deleting browser cookies or the site's local storage. On the next visit, the banner will reappear and you will be able to set new preferences.
